(A Conflict Resolution Workshop)
This workshop focuses on 11 keys to effectively deal with conflict in and outside of the
workplace. I teach appropriate methods for confronting managers/supervisors or coworkers
about dislikes. Participants will learn how to overcome the fear of confrontation and the proper
use of language to communicate desired outcomes of a disagreements.
The workshop outlines the following topics:
How to work with the most difficult people
Identify your hot spots and pet peeves, which may contribute to the conflict
Learn how to get along with other co-workers to accomplish task
Develop Workplace relationships
Create Conflict Resolutions Action Plan

Workshop Description:

Awareness Certification. The curriculum covers physical, mental, verbal, environmental, emotional
and education abuse symptoms, as well as, neglect indicators. The participants become aware of
new policies for reporting abuse and the counties involvement in abuse cases.
Participants will learn how to:

Workshop Description:
Cultural Competency workshop utilizes video scenarios addressing cultural diversity issues on
the job and in the community. The workshop curriculum answers the question, “How to adjust
to being the minority in a work environment?” The workshop reviews the successful keys to
adjustment. The workshop also outlines the importance of cultural competency to promote
company and personal growth.
The content includes:
Addressing Various Stereotypes
Explores cultural differences
The cost to a company for poor management of diversity
Promotes curiosity & awareness
Also, reveal the 5 success keys to adjusting to being the minority in the workplace.

Behind the horrific crisis of 911 we learned on lesson, preparation is our best defense. We
also learned to expect the unexpected and to plan for it. Knowing what to do in an
emergency will help you and your family better control the situation and be in a position to
recover more quickly. This workshop will remind us of the basic of preparation, but also
prepare you for a variety of emergency that may arise while we are in our homes, cars or
workplaces.
Participants will learn:
The obvious disasters that could strike our community or individual homes.
Discuss current concerns surrounding homeland security
Identify what we can do in our own lives to be better prepared for unexpected emergencies.
Discuss the states plan of action for disasters or threats and research whether or not our city
has an emergency plan.
Review the essentials for family disaster survival kits.
Learn the government recommended steps to developing an effective disaster plan.
Develop a starter disaster plan for your own families utilizing the official ready.gov template
Share ideas for survival techniques for other locations outside of our homes.

for students just wanting to improve their existing skills. You may not get over your fear, but you
will learn how to better deal with it, and you will build confidence in your public speaking.

workplace, church, school and for your home. Each participant will receive a certification card issued by the
American Red Cross.

The ABC's or life saving CPR.
The basics of emergency care.
First Aid care procedures.
How to rescue techniques to saving a conscious choking victim
